Instead of guiding the edge bander by hand along the workpiece, the KA 65 is mounted securely into the table, allowing the user to guide the workpiece past the machine. This is especially useful for small batches, narrow parts, straight edges, curved components, shaped workpieces and mitred edging where controlled handling and consistent pressure make a big difference to the final result. Stationary Edge Banding For Better Control The MFT/3 Conturo-AP turns the KA 65 into a bench-mounted edge-banding station. The machine can swivel in the table, allowing edging work on straight, shaped and angled edges while the workpiece remains easier to guide horizontally.
