The blades can be used to cut metals or plastics. The blade can be mounted with the teeth facing towards or away from the handle, resulting in cutting action on either the push or pull stroke. Range: The range of blades are available from 14 to 32 teeth per inch (TPI). The blade corresponds to the thickness of the material being cut. It is more flexible, but wears down faster than bi-metal blades.
